Áras Éanna is Europe’s most westerly Arts Centre located on the smallest of the Aran Islands, Inis Oírr. Situated in a former weaving factory, Áras Éanna is a multi-functioning arts space that includes an artists studio space, a 75 seat theatre, two galleries, a café (open for gigs only) and various rooms and spaces for workshops and classes.
Áras Éanna was founded in 2000 and since then we have played host to national and international visual and conceptual artists, musicians, performers, actors and a range of festivals and workshops. We run a Artist in Residence programme that offers three studios and a self-contained apartment on site. We have an Artist House on the island from September to May. Áras Éanna on the wild picturesque Inis Oírr provides a unique place of inspiration for the visiting artist.

Tá Áras Éanna lonnaithe in Inis Oírr agus is é t-Ionad Ealaíon is faide siar san Eoraip é. Is spás ealaíne ilfheidhmeach é atá i bhfoirgneamh a dearadh ar dtús mar mhonarcha fíodóireachta. Tá trí stiúideo ealaíontóra ann, amharclann 75 suíochán, dhá ghailearaí, caifé (oscailte do gigs amháin)  agus seomraí do cheardlanna agus ranganna.  Bunaíodh Áras Éanna sa mbliain 2000 agus ó shin i leith is iomaí ealaíontóir náisiúnta agus idirnáisiúnta a bhfuil freastal déanta againn orthu, idir amharc-ealaíontóirí, ealaíontóirí coincheapúla, ceoltóirí, taibheoirí agus aisteoirí chomh maith le meascán féilte agus ceardlanna. Tá clár ‘Ealaíontóir Cónaithe’ á reachtáil againn le stiúideo féinchuimsitheach agus árasán ar an suíomh.  Tá teach ealaíontóirí againn ar suíomh eile ó Mheán Fómhair go Bealtaine. Is áit ann féin é Áras Éanna, ar oileán gleoite Inis Oírr, áit a bhfaigheann ealaíontóirí sruth inspioráide ar leith.
